From the awe-inspiring blue whale skeleton suspended from our ceiling to the largest blue topaz gemstone of its kind, the specimens we care for are full of wonder.

Join one of our knowledgeable guides to explore our very best highlights.

This hour-long tour is a great opportunity to see our most popular objects. Starting with Sophie, one of the most complete Stegosaurus fossil skeletons on display in Europe, you’ll embark on a journey of discovery through our galleries.

Along the way, you'll get to see everything from our beautiful cabinet full of hummingbirds in our Birds Gallery to spectacular specimens collected by Mary Anning in our Fossil Marine Reptiles Gallery.

No tour would be complete without a stop off in our magnificent Hintze Hall where there are an abundance of wonderful secrets for you to discover.

From why our showstopping blue whale is named Hope to what the much-loved London resident Guy the Gorilla was gifted for his birthday, we’ll reveal all.

If you want to see all the best we have to offer, then this is the tour for you.
